WELCOME TO LINCOLN

18-25

St. Swithin’s has a great community of young adults made up of students and those in their twenties. We are passionate about building a community of disciple making disciples who support one another to become everything God wants them to be.

We care about seeing lives and communities transformed here in Lincoln and are always finding new ways to reach out and share our hope with those around us, whether that’s throwing great parties to invite friends to or serving those who are most vulnerable, we want to be a community that makes a difference.

#Students

Whatever university you are from, come and get involved. We have loads of great events to introduce you to the church and what we are about –  if you would like to know more, find ways of getting connected or just fancy meeting up for a coffee then we’d love to hear from you.

Why not decide to serve on team at a morning service and come to the evening to recieve?

The GATHERING

We meet together every Thursday at 7:30pm. We’ll have some time to chat, hear a talk or interview and then discuss in smaller groups followed by drinks at a local pub. EVENTS

We have loads of great events coming up throughout the year to help you and your mates connect in with St. Swithin’s community and to explore life and faith. Upcoming events include an EPIC party in the Cathedral, our weekend away, lunches, movie nights… we’ve got so much going on! Keep your eyes peeled on social media and your email to see what’s happening!

STUDENT LUNCHES

If you’ve just moved to the city and are missing that comfy sofa and Dad’s roast dinners, we’ve got just the thing to make you feel right at home: We know that being a student in a new city is great fun but sometimes you just fancy a nice family Sunday lunch. We have a great team of Host Families who invite students along for lunch after the 10.30 service. As well as delicious food, its a great way to get to know people from the church. Student Lunches happen throughout the term – we’ll let you know when they’re happening and how to sign up!

Mentoring

We would love every young adult at St. Swithin’s to have a mentor in the church who can help disciple, guide and support them. We would also love our young adults to be involved in mentoring the next generation. If you are interested in mentoring someone then look out for the next Mentor Training Session. To sign up for a mentor please click the button below and fill out the short form and we’ll try and find someone suitable for you.
