TABLES

We're really excited to invite you to TABLES — a five-week midweek series for everyone to build community, grow in faith and deepen friendships.

Think Alpha-style evenings, with good food, encouraging content, honest conversation, worship and space for ministry. More than anything, we want these evenings to help you feel at home, be real, build friendships and find courage in your faith.

It doesn't matter whether you come with a group of friends or come on your own. Whether you've been part of church for years or have only joined us once on a Sunday — you are very welcome.

WHEN & WHERE

Wednesdays, 7:00pm–8:45pm
The Salthouse, central Lincoln

We'll begin our Wednesday evenings together on 23rd September with Hungry — an evening of prayer, worship and ministry — before launching the first session of TABLES on 30th September.

Here are all the dates for the term:

  • 23 Sep — HUNGRY: WORSHIP NIGHT

  • 30 Sep — TABLES: Session 1

  • 7 Oct — TABLES: Session 2

  • 14 Oct — TABLES: Session 3

  • 21 Oct — HUNGRY: WORSHIP NIGHT

  • 28 Oct — No gathering (half-term)

  • 4 Nov — TABLES: Session 4

  • 11 Nov — TABLES: Session 5

  • 18 Nov — Hungry

Over the Autumn term, our midweek groups and evening Alpha will be temporarily pausing so that as many people as possible can gather together for Hungry and TABLES.

We really, really hope and pray that you can join us!

A FEW PRACTICAL THINGS

🍽 Food
We're going to provide some good food each week and ask for a £2 donation to help cover the cost. You'll find on the ticket section you can pay £10 to cover the five sessions. We think that's pretty unrivalled value for money! But if money is tight, please don't let that stop you — it's on us. We want everyone to be able to come.

👦 Youth
Our youth will be part of some of the TABLES evenings too. They'll start their night hanging out together as usual and then they'll have the opportunity to join us around the table for worship and some of the teaching content, before breaking away to take part in their usual youth sessions. We're really looking forward to having them be part of the wider TABLES community while still giving them space to be with their youth group.

🚗 Parking
We know parking in Lincoln can be a pain! There is free street parking around the Salthouse, although spaces aren't always easy to find. We've found Lincoln Central Car Park by the bus station to be the best option for cost and proximity.

🏠 Young children at home?
We get it — having young kids can make midweek evenings harder. If you're a couple and perhaps only one of you can make it in person, we're also running an online group, so please chat to us. We'd love to help get one of you plugged in so that neither of you misses out.
